GPS Rover Training - This course will focus on all three Major systems; Leica, Trimble, Topcon.
Members will learn the basics of all three systems during class room hours and will be given the option to focus on any one of the three systems in the field. Field exercises will include but are not limited to; Volume Calcs, Lay out, Grade Checking, Line work and Surface creation, Calibrating and set up of a job site, Importing and Exporting from Rover to Machine and Machine to Rover.
Total Station set up will also be taught.
Topcon Train the Trainer - Advanced
This three-day course will cover more advanced features and functions of Topcon machine control and jobsite layout using 3D-MC and Pocket3D software. This course is directed at trainers with a good working knowledge of Topcon technology either in the field or as trainers. Upon completion, students will understand the advanced functions of Pocket3D and 3D-MC such as staking linework and arcs/curves, surface creation in the field and setting steering options. This course will also cover common system troubleshooting.

- Creating 3D data in the field
- Calculating quantities
- Stakeout functions for linework, surfaces and arcs/alignments
- Sensor calibration (grader and crawler)
- Steering to linework/alignments
- Advanced surface creation
- Field troubleshooting
